Capturing Lifestyle Portraits

Capturing Lifestyle Portraits

In the spirit of staying in the game, I had to cook something with one of the digital influencers you ought to know, Abongwe Qokela. You need to visit her Instagram page to see her wonderful styling and modeling work, yes, I had to open this post by affirming her talents. I am in love with her posing game; it is so easy to work with her. She is free; this makes my job easier and fun.

Well, over the weekend we planned to create something beautiful, she did her own make up, natural, simple and lovely.  Some of her costumes were outsourced from Merwe Salt and she did the styling herself, for obvious recurring reasons; impromptu work.  With me always on the road, it’s hard to sit and have prior meetings to plan ahead; everything is done on the go.

I do love these quick shoots, as you cannot blame not having time in order to create something. Capturing lifestyle portraits does not require much, the heart to actually get up, grab the camera and hit the road.  I was pleased with the results, which is why I have decided to share a few of these with you all.  Feed!
